Bay View avocado orchard stripped of fruit during weekend heist
Hawke's Bay Police are urging avocado lovers to be on the lookout for suspicious sellers of the fruit.
About 50 trees on a Bay View property were stripped of their avocados between Friday last week and Sunday.
Police say anyone who is aware of avocados being sold in bulk, in circumstances which seem suspicious or unusual, should call them on 105, quoting file number 191202/6699.
