Devils Elbow announce Hastings show to launch latest single

Hawke’s Bay alternative rock group Devils Elbow will play a Hastings show this month to launch their latest single.

The new single, ‘Names,’ (watch it below) will feature on the group’s forthcoming EP ‘ID’, set for release this summer, is their first new recordings since their 2015 EP ‘Golden Flame’.

Devils Elbow has an EP release tour planned for early next year but will first play a one-off single-release show on November 30 at The Common Room in Hastings.

Formed in 2007, the bands sound has been described as punk-influenced, alt. country-flavoured, electric-folk, garage rock n' roll.

Devils Elbow’s second full-length album Absolute Domain has received critical acclaim as well as significant radio airplay in New Zealand and abroad.

Since the release of their debut album ‘Sand On Chrome,’ the band have toured the country numerous times and this year begun work towards album number three to be released in 2020.

In May this year (New Zealand Music Month) the band released a live version of The Clean classic, 'Anything Could Happen' (listen to the track here).

In June they released a new video for ‘Gravediggers Union’.
