The Bowie Show and Killer Queens

When: Friday, July 8: 8pm
Where: Paisley Stage, 17 Carlyle Street, Napier
What: Two great bands. One unforgettable show. The Killer Queens combine with the Bowie show to bring you an evening of fun, nostalgia, sing-a-longs and arm-waving anthems.
The Killer Queens are not a tribute band - there are no cheap wigs and fake moustaches here. They pay homage to the music, influence and electricity of one of the biggest selling bands in the world.
The night will span the entirety of Queen’s career with songs from the early years and includes songs Freddie never got to perform live with the band before he passed away in 1991.
The annual long-awaited return of The Bowie Show, a yearly pilgrimage, the right of passage for the fans of the Diamond Dog, the Thin White Duke, Ziggy Stardust.
David Bowie is a true rock legend, a chameleon of character and weaver of sonic textures. The Bowie Show band's first show was way back in 2015.

Every fortnight the screenwriting group comes together at either Hastings Library or Taradale Library to share pages, discuss ideas and develop the work to a final state.
Kate is willing to help and give guidance where she can. If you wish to attend one of the sessions you must contact Kate k.powis@hotmail.com, so she can give you further information about expectations and how the sessions run.
