Lego show supports young Bay robot designers’ trip of a lifetime
If you and your kids love Lego, you’ll want to get along to Karamu High School in Hastings on Saturday for the Hawke’s Bay Brick Show 2019.
It’s not only a chance to see an amazing collection of constructions put on by the Wellington Lego User Group, it’s also a chance to support a team of students from Mayfair and Lucknow Schools who are heading to Legoland California next month to take on the world to become World Champs at Lego Robotics.

The six-member ‘NZ Blackbots’ team need to raise $40,000 to take part in this amazing opportunity to perform on the world stage.
Saturday’s show, at the Karamu High School hall, runs from 9am to 5pm and entry is $5 for adults, $3 for kids and free for under-3s.
