Family-friendly music festival coming to Haumoana

California has its famous Coachella music festival and on Friday, November 15, Haumoana will enjoy its own version with a family-friendly fundraising event called “Hauchella”.

Organised by Haumoana School and taking place at the Clifton County Cricket Club, this year’s Hauchella will feature guest DJ BMC for a live set from 5.30pm-7.30pm for 8-12-year-olds in a supervised dance area.

It's a chance for kids from right across Hawke's Bay to come together and enjoy plenty of fun, music and dancing in the open air with delicious food and fun festival vibes.

While the kids dance into the night, there will be plenty of delicious food, music, inflatable fun, festival face paint, chill out area and festival vibes for the rest of the family to enjoy.

Ticket for the supervised dance party area – from 5.30pm to 7.30pm – are $20 while the rest of the family can enjoy the event for just a gold coin donation on entry.

This is an alcohol and smoke free event. Gates to Hauchella open at 4pm and close by 8.30pm
