Hawke’s Bay about to step out to support those with motor neurone disease

Walk 2 D’Feet MND takes place all over New Zealand on Sunday, November 10 – and Hawke’s Bay locals have the chance to be involved in this great fundraising activity for MND New Zealand.

The easy, fun walk is a powerful way to show your support for people with motor neurone disease (MND).

The 3.5km Hawke’s Bay walks starts at 10.30am from the Napier Sailing Club, 63 West Quay, Ahuriri. Registration and merchandise pick up begins at 9.30am.

Dogs are welcome outside the club. Just remember they need to be on a lead and under control. Dogs are not allowed inside the sailing club.

Like all Walk 2 D’Feet MND events, the Hawke’s Bay walk is wheel-friendly for wheelchairs, prams and strollers. Kids are welcome. Please be prepared for all weather as the event will go ahead wet or fine.

Register for the walk on the MND New Zealand website.

Your registration fee covers the cost of running the walks. During registration, you will be given the opportunity to set up an online fundraising page to help raise vital funds in aid of MND New Zealand.

The funds you raise contribute to enabling MND New Zealand to continue to fund free support & information for those living with MND, raise awareness of MND, advocate the needs of those living with MND and fund MND research.
