Herbs and Ché Fu, The Horse And Hound, Hastings. Come and experience New Zealand’s highly-acclaimed and most soulful musical voices with Herbs and hip hop reggae icon Ché Fu.

Adam Hattaway and the Haunters, Album Release Tour, The Common Room, Hastings. The Christchurch band are on their release tour for their sophomore album Crying Lessons, and sharing their glorious rock ‘n’ roll ballad ‘Take Care of You’ along with a tongue-in-cheek video.

National Council of Women Suffrage Day Breakfast, Napier. Guest Speaker, Sergeant Melanie Leonard, will be talking about what got her into policing, what it is like being a women in the Police Force, her work in the area of Family Harm and the effects of Family Harm on women and children and also about her time working in East Timor.

Napier Urban Farmers' Market, Clive Square, Napier. Enjoy freshly roasted coffee, divine treats and all the produce you need to cook up a true locavore's meal.

Yummy Fruit Co Golf Croquet Spring Tournament, Havelock North. Championship singles played on the 9 lawns which covers all handicaps. Juniors included. This is an annual event which attracts players from other Associations. Spectators are very welcome.

Justice of The Peace, Havelock North Library. Having a JP helping you is entirely free of charge. Justices are statutory appointees who receive no payment for their services to the community. If you are not sure whether a JP can help you, just ask.

Mozzarella, Feta and Haloumi Cheese Making Workshop, Havelock North. In this three-hour long workshop, you will learn how to make halloumi, mozzarella, and quark. You will be taught by Chris Van Der Have of Farmhouse Kitchen.

Soap Making Class, Taradale. Learn steps of cold process soap to saponification then try your hand at melt ‘n pour soap making so you can compare the two.

Messy Church, St Martins Hall, Mayfair, Hastings. Fun for primary and intermediate aged kids and their families. Crafts and music to tell Bible stories. Hosted by St Peter's Anglican Church, Riverslea, Hastings. Followed by a meal.

Saturday Night Session with Ralph Gannaway, The Urban Winery, Ahuriri. Enjoy Ralph’s melodic tunes, rhythmic picking, and overall fabulous guitar playing – from Classical to Celtic to Flamenco, he does it all.

Onwards! - Wellington Youth Choir's 30th Anniversary, Napier. Under the direction of director Mark Stamper, this series includes a wide variety of pieces and genres, celebrating our hope for the past, present and future with pieces that capture the youthful and diverse singers that makes Wellington Youth Choir unique.

Son de Cuba 100% Cuban Quartet: First Road Trip to Napier. Son de Cuba is the first-ever New Zealand and more specifically Wellington-based 100% Cuban Quartet.

Permaculture Farm and Food Forest Tour, Poukawa, near Hastings. A guided tour of Kahikatea Farm where you’ll learn about permaculture and organic principles as we nibble our way around the home gardens and food forest.

CPTSD & PTSD Recovery Group, Hastings. This is a group for anyone who has CPTSD or PTSD or just feels like they want recovery from being impacted by your upbringing.

Meet the Artist - Mauricio Benega, MTG Century Theatre, Napier. Brazil-born, Hastings-based artist Mauricio Benega has work in collections around New Zealand and the world. Enjoy a leisurely Sunday session listening to Mauricio talking about various aspects of fine art and his experience as an international artist. Mauricio is the 2019 Hawke’s Bay Wine Auction feature artist. His funky painting is on display at Art Deco Masonic Hotel and will be auctioned at the November event, with all proceeds going to Cranford Hospice.

Liam Finn, Craggy Range, Havelock North. Experience an engaging and ever-changing live performance by Liam Finn. Liam’s music has evolved over the course of his nomadic solo career, absorbing the nuances and energy of the multitude of stages he has played on across the globe.

Sam MacKenzie Band, Napier Sailing Club, Ahuriri. Fresh from the Martinborough Jazz Festival the Sam MacKenzie Band play jazz standards, bebop and contemporary jazz. The band is full of familiar faces from the New Zealand School of Music Big Band. Charts include Donna Lee, Let The Good Times Roll and Art Blakey's Moanin'.
