Man in custody after armed rampage at Park Island
The man at the centre of a firearm drama at Park Island in Napier is now believed to be in police custody.
The man is understood to have fired two shots at around 7.26pm causing panic with several sports events happening at the park at the time.
Armed police swarmed the area and cordons were put in place.
Clubrooms at the park were locked down.
