$11 million Powerball win for lucky Hawke’s Bay player

A lucky Hawke’s Bay Powerball player has won $11 million with Powerball First Division in last night’s Lotto draw.

The $11 million prize is made up of $10 million from Powerball First Division and $1 million from Lotto First Division.

The winning ticket was sold at Unichem Stortford Lodge in Hastings.

The winning numbers were: 7, 8, 14, 23, 31 and 39. The Powerball number was 6 and the bonus was 25.

This latest win brings the total number of First Division winning tickets sold by Unichem Stortford Lodge to 47, further cementing itself as the ‘luckiest’ Lotto store in New Zealand.

This is the fifth time that Powerball has been struck so far this year, with players from Taranaki, Fielding, Auckland and Christchurch already becoming overnight millionaires with Powerball in 2019.

Anyone who bought a ticket for tonight’s draw from Unichem Stortford Lodge should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it at any Lotto outlet, online at mylotto.co.nz or through the Lotto NZ App.

Players can phone Lotto NZ on 0800 695 6886 if they want to enquire about the best way to claim a prize.
