Armed police search for person of interest at Napier address
Armed police are searching for a person of interest at a suburban Napier address, in relation to an earlier family harm-related matter.
Police were called to Venables Ave, Onekawa South, between the intersections of Riverbend Rd and McLaren Cr at 11.15am.
More than three hours later, cordons still remain at the intersections.
A police spokeswoman said they were still working to locate a person of interest.
The Armed Offenders Squad had been called as a precaution, she said.
