Automatic 80s to headline next month’s Big Easy concert

The sound of 80s songs are set to fill Black Barn Vineyards’ amphitheatre when Kiwi group Automatic 80s headline the ‘The Big Easy’ concert on Saturday April 20.

Justin Maclaren, Pearl Runga, Danny McCrum, Clint Harris and Jayden Lee, all individually acclaimed national recording artists, have joined forces to perform a line-up of chart-topping 80s hits, including ABC, The Pretenders, Blondie, Billy Idol, INXS, and David Bowie, among many others.

Automatic 80s are headlining this year's Big Easy in Havelock North.

Hawke’s Bay Tourism General Manager, Annie Dundas says music lovers can look forward to a cracker afternoon at Black Barn Vineyards.

“We are so excited to have top Kiwi talent coming to the Big Easy this Easter. It’s sure to be an electric atmosphere in the amphitheatre – a great reward for completing the ride on the Hawke’s Bay Trails.”

Dave Atkin Group, a popular three-piece Hawke’s Bay band, will kick-start the afternoon from 1:30pm to 3:15pm with their well-known punchy jazz and blues sound. The Automatic 80s will be taking the stage from 3:30pm till 5:00pm. Local food trucks will also be on hand to refuel riders after their day on the Hawke’s Bay Trails.
