Cordons lifted in Napier suburb as search continues for person of interest
Cordons have been lifted, and armed police stood down from a suburban Napier address.
However, the search for a man wanted in relation to an earlier family harm-related matter continues.
Police were called to Venables Ave, Onekawa South, between the intersections of Riverbend Rd and McLaren Cr at 11.15am this morning.
A police spokeswoman said they were seeking was not located at the address and enquiries are ongoing to locate him.
"No one was injured incident. Police are speaking with the female victim.
"AOS were initially called to assist in locating the person of interest but have now left the scene," she said just after 3.30pm.
