Covid-19: Two Hawke's Bay residents test positive while in Waikato

Two Hawke's Bay residents have tested positive for Covid-19 while in Waikato and are currently isolating in Te Kūiti. 

In a statement, the Ministry of Health said there are no known exposure events associated with these cases in Hawke’s Bay.

Both cases are previously linked to reported cases in Waikato. 

The two cases are among 27 new community cases of Covid-19 and 33 in Managed Isolation and Quarantine (MIQ) facilities today. 

Of the new cases, 16 are in Auckland, five in Waikato, two in Bay of Plenty, one in Rotorua, two in Hawke's Bay (Te Kūiti), and one in Wellington.
