Did you feel it? Earthquake centred near Wairoa felt around Hawke's Bay
A weak earthquake, measuring 3.8 on the richter scale, shook northern Hawke's Bay during the early hours of this morning.
The earthquake struck 40km north of Napier near Wairoa at 12.42am on Tuesday at a depth of 31km.
On Geonet, a total of 241 reported feeling the earthquake, with 14 saying it was a moderate shake, 95 light and 132 weak.
