Firefighters battle chemical spill at Napier Port
Firefighters are battling a chemical spill at the Port of Napier.
Emergency services were called to the HAZMAT incident at 9.55am this morning. Currently, seven trucks are at the scene.
A Fire and Emergency New Zealand spokesperson said it involves a chemical that spilled from a container.
"We are focused on containing the chemical and working to stop it getting into the waterways."
