Frimley roundabout reopened
The Nottingley Rd/Frimley Rd intersection has reopened this morning following work required as part of the Frimley water project.
A Hastings District Council spokeswoman said the closure of the roundabout was required to allow a major water connection to be installed beneath the roadway, connecting new mains water pipes being laid in the area.
Those pipes will connect to the new Frimley water storage and treatment facility - a major project in Council's Drinking Water Strategy.
"Council thanks everyone for their on-going patience as this critical drinking water infrastructure project continues," she said.
"Drivers are asked to continue to take extra care in the area as remedial works are completed."
