Hawke's Bay DHB apologises for providing incorrect location of interest details

Hawke's Bay DHB has apologised for providing incorrect information relating to the locations of interest in Hawke's Bay yesterday.

In a statement, the HBDHB said they apologise for this error and encourage anybody who has been at the following locations of interest to be tested for Covid-19.

The two locations of interest are Big Barrel on Carlyle Street, Napier and Paper Plus, Hastings Street, Napier South. Originally, the HBDHB said the Paper Plus store had been visited on November 16.

However, it was actually visited a day earlier on November 15 between 3.30pm and 4.30pm.

Big Barrel was visited on November 15 between 6pm and 7pm.

"We continue to urge anyone in Hawke's Bay with COVID-19-related symptoms – no matter how mild – to get tested, even if they are vaccinated," a spokeswoman said.

"People are also reminded to follow the Alert Level 2 rules of wearing a face mask, practising physical distancing and keeping track of your movements using the COVID Tracer App or a manual diary."

Anyone who has not yet gotten vaccinated is urged to do so, with many sites available across the region.

Full testing and vaccination information is available at www.ourhealthhb.nz
