There is one new case of Covid-19 in managed isolation in New Zealand today. This is in addition to yesterday evening's announcement of four cases.
Today's case is a woman in her 50s who arrived back in the country on August 7th from Islamabad, Pakistan. She returned a positive test on day-3 of her stay.
There are four more probable cases in the community, three adults and one teenager. Thay are relatives of the initial four cases.
There have been 5 cases that have been reclassified as being recovered.
There are 22 active cases of Covid-19 in managed isolation or quarantine facilities.
The confirmed case total is 1,225.
Over 4,000 tests were completed yesterday.
