Pedestrian sustains serious injuries after being hit by vehicle in Taradale
A pedestrian has been taken to Hawke's Bay Hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a vehicle this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the scene on Lee Rd between Meeanee Rd and Peddie St, Taradale, just after 2.40pm.
A St John Ambulance spokesman said one ambulance attended, and transported the patient to hospital.
