Police name man who died following Waimārama ute incident
Police have named the man who died after two people fell from a ute in Waimārama on Monday evening.
Hayden Darren John Barnden, 38, of Clive died at the scene following the incident.
Emergency services were called to the scene on Harper Road, Waimārama about 7.50pm, where they found two people with serious injuries.
In a statement, police extended their condolences to his family and friends.
Enquiries into the circumstances of the incident are ongoing.
