Police name person whose body was found near Mohaka River
Police have released the name of the person whose body was located near the Mohaka River mouth, south of Wairoa.
He was Matthew Knight, from Te Awamutu, who was 19 years old when he went missing on 9 October.
Police say they are working to support Matthew’s family at this difficult time.
The matter has been referred to the coroner.
