Regional Council undertakes work around stopbanks: Taradale Cycle Trail users urged to take care
Taradale cycle trail users are urged to take care over the next few days as the Hawke's Bay Regional Council undertakes work around its stopbanks.
"Before we look at strengthening our stopbanks against climate change, we’ll be excavating some test pits at Taradale by the stopbanks, and cutting through the stopbank on Monday-Tuesday next week," a council spokesperson said.
Cycle trail diversions and signage will be in place. The work is between the Expressway Bridge (Guppy Rd) and the Tūtaekurī River Bridge (by EIT).
