Road open following serious crash at SH2 and SH5 intersection
State Highway 5 has reopened following a serious crash where one person was taken to hospital.
Emergency services were called to the collision between a truck and car near the intersection of SH2 and SH5, near Taits Road, at 11.45am.
A police spokeswoman confirmed one person remains in a serious condition at Hawke's Bay Hospital.
