Truck crash near Tarawera blocking SH5
A truck has crashed and rolled on the Napier-Taupo road, SH5, near Tarawera.
The crash has caused the road to be blocked and police are asking motorists to avoid the area.
The crash site is approximately 50km out of Napier, heading to Taupo.
Shortly after 5.30pm police said they were en route to the scene, so we are unable to give an update on injury status.
However, they said initial reports were that there are no injuries.
It appeared to be a single vehicle crash.
