Vehicle flips at Waimarama beach
One person has been taken to hospital via helicopter after their beach buggy flipped in Waimarama.
Emergency services were called to the incident on Harper Road just after 5.40pm.
A police spokesperson said one person has moderate injuries and has been flown to hospital.
Crews from the Havelock North and Waimarama Volunteer Fire Brigades also responded, a Fire and Emergency New Zealand spokesperson said.
