Video: Anzac Day services around Hawke's Bay

This Thursday is Anzac Day and there are more than 30 public Anzac Day services being held throughout Hawke's Bay, starting early for dawn services and continuing throughout the day with civic and church services.

Below is a list of all the public services, along with Google Map links, to assist you in finding the best service suited for you to pay your respects to those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

In Napier, there will be a dawn service at 6 am at the Napier Soundshell, followed by a Civic Service at the Memorial Square Cenotaph at 11 am.

In Taradale, there will be a 6 am dawn service at the Lone Pine Cemetery on Puketapu Road and a memorial service with a wreath-laying ceremony and march from Taradale Paperplus to the Taradale Clock Tower starting at 9 am.

In Hastings, the dawn service in Civic Square starts at 6.30 with a memorial service at the Hawke's Bay Fallen Soldiers Memorial Hospital chapel at 10 am.

In Havelock North, there will be a service at the Havelock North Cenotaph at 9 am.

In Clive, there will be a service at the Clive Cenotaph at 9.30 am

In Waimarama, there is a dawn service at the Waimarama Memorial Hall at 6.30 am.

In Maraekakaho, there will be a service at the Maraekakaho Hall at 9.30 am.

In Rissington, there will be a service at 11 am at the Anzac Redwood Tree Carving.

In Wairoa, there will be a civic service at 11.45 am at the Cenotaph on Locke Street.

In Mahia, there is a dawn service at Kaiuku Marae at 5.45 am.

There will be a service at 8.30 am at Taihoa Marae.

In Frasertown, there is a 10 am civic service at the War Memorial.

In Nūhaka, there is a 10 am service at Kahungunu Marae, celebrating the 75th anniversary of the marae that was opened in 1949 following World War II. 

In Waipukurau, there is a dawn service, starting in the Memorial Hall car park at 5.45 and leading to a service at the War Memorial Cenotaph at 6 am. 

In Ōtāne, there is a 5.45 am dawn service at the Ōtāne Hall Cenotaph.

In Pōrangahau, there's a 5.45 am dawn service at the Pōrangahau Hall.

In Hatuma, there is a 9 am service at the Memorial Cairn on the corner of Hatuma Road and Settlement Road.

In Ongaonga, there is a 9 am service at the Cenotaph on Bridge Street.

In Tikokino, there is a 9 am service at the Tikokino Hall Cenotaph.

In Ōmakere there is a 9 am service at Church Hall on Pourerere Road.

In Elsthorpe, there is a 9 am service at the Church Cenotaph on Kenderine Road.

In Takapau, there is a 10 am service at the Cenotaph on Charlotte Street.

In Waipawa, there is a service at 11 am at the CHB Municipal Theatre on Kenilworth Street, followed by a march to the Memorial Clock Tower Cenotaph.

In Dannevirke, there is a 5.45 am dawn service at the Dannevirke Cenotaph in Upper Domain and a civic service at 8.30 am at the Cenotaph.

In Weber, there is a 10.30 am community service at the Cenotaph near Weber School.

In Wimbledon, there is a 9 am community service at the Cenotaph.

In Norsewood, there is a parade starting at 10.20 am at the Boer War Memorial, followed by a civic service at 10.30 am at the Cenotaph.

In Ormondville, there is a service at noon at the Church of the Epiphany.

In Makotuku, there's a service at 1.30 pm at Makotuku Public Hall.

In Woodville, there is a dawn service and parade formation at Fountaine Square, a service at 7 am at the Woodville Services Lawn Cemetery and a 10 am civic service at Fountaine Square.
