Video: Man treated with non-life threatening injuries following armed police call out
A man has been taken to Hawke's Bay Hospital following an alleged assault at a Napier address this afternoon.
Armed police were called to an address on Nuffield Av, Marewa at around 3:30pm, a spokeswoman said.
"Staff attended and located a 38-year-old man who was treated for non-life-threatening injuries and taken to hospital."
Just after 5pm, cordons were stood down in the area. However, police remain at the address "to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident".
