Police release name of fatal crash at Takapau
Police can now release the name of the man who died following a serious crash on SH2, Takapau, on Thursday.
He was 79-year-old Desmond Strong, of Palmerston North.
The two-vehicle crash was reported around 6pm July 30th.
Initial reports indicated another person also sustained minor injuries.
Police extend their sympathies to his family and friends.
