Rod Stewart to play a Mission Concert in November

Veteran rocker Rod Stewart will perform at a special Mission Concert to be held in November this year.

It will be the 75-year-old’s third time as the Mission drawcard – he’s previously performed at the venue in 2005 and 2012.

The concert at the Napier venue will be on Saturday November 14.

It’s part of Stewarts’ ‘The Hit’s’ world tour and will be his only North Island performance.

Tickets go on sale to Mission Concert Club members on Wednesday next week from 11am on the Mission Concert website.

Rod Stewart celebrated 50 years as a solo artist last year.

The legendary singer-songwriter is one of the best-selling music artists of all time, with more than 250 million records sold worldwide during a stellar career that includes nine #1 albums and 26 Top 10 singles in the U.K. Plus, 17 Top 10 albums and 16 Top 10 singles in the US.

In 2016 he officially became "Sir Rod Stewart" after being knighted at Buckingham Palace for his services to music and charity.
