Second victim of yesterday's SH5 crash has died
Police say a second person has died following yesterday’s crash near Te Pohue on the Napier-Taupo highway.
The crash, involving a motorcycle and a logging truck, was reported at 5.50am.
Police say the second victim of the crash was taken to hospital in a critical condition and died yesterday evening.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
Police say they want to hear from anyone who was driving in the area between 5.30am and 6am yesterday, especially anyone who saw the motorcyclist before the crash.
