Sell-out prompts Mission to add second Rod Stewart concert in November
Mission Concert organisers say “overwhelming demand” has prompted them to schedule a second Rod Stewart concert in November.
Tickets to the first concerts – on Saturday November 14 –sold out within two hours after going on sale this morning.
Tickets to the second concert – on Sunday November 15 – are on sale now on the Mission’s website.
The dates will be part of Sir Rod’s The Hits! world tour -- a 50-year celebration of his career.
He’s previously performed at The Mission in 2005 and 2012.
The two Mission Concerts on the 14th and 15th will be Sir Rod's only North Island performances.
"The Mission winery is one of my favourite venues in the world," the artist has said.
