The 2024 Apollo Projects New Zealand Swimming Championships come to a close tomorrow afternoon after an exciting week of action in the pool, gearing up some competitors of the Paris Olympics later this year.

"We've got quite a few who are hopeful of making the Paris team," says Swimming NZ's Dale Johnson. "Obviously this is a good chance to make it."

With swimmers like Lewis Clareburt, Erika Fairweather and Hawke's Bay's very own Emma Godwin along with many other of the best swimmers in New Zealand, you can see why the competition is tight for selection.

But there are also plenty of Paralympian hopefuls ready to prove themselves for selectors like three time Paralympion Jesse Reynolds, gold medalist Tupou Neiufi, and many more up and coming inspiring, future champions

Most of these swimmers have been in action each day. Swimming NZ has a blog on their website that tries to showcase some of the key races each day, which you can find here.
