Video: 'Really cool to come and lift the spirits' - Fans delight at All Blacks open training session.

McLean Park hosted the third and final day of the All Blacks' visit to Hawke's Bay.

The open training session provided an opportunity for fans, young and old, to view the team up close, ahead of the 2023 Rugby World Cup held in France next month.

The decision by the All Blacks to visit the region, was to boost community morale almost six months on from Cyclone Gabrielle, which devastated the region.

The whirlwind tour of the bay also saw the team visit Tangoio Marae on Tuesday, to pitch in with the clean up and learn about the experience from the locals.

"It was really eye-opening to see how much damage is actually down here" said All Black Luke Jacobson

'But its was also really cool to come out here and I guess try and lift the spirits a little bit.'
