Stags in cricketing action at McLean Park from tomorrow
The Central Stags will be in action at Napier’s McLean Park from 10.30am tomorrow looking to reclaim the Plunket Shield first-class championship lead.
The team heads into the third-to-last round of the season sitting a marginal two points behind leaders the Auckland Aces.
Captain Greg Hay and his men will be facing the winless Otago Volts – at a home ground at which the Stags have not been defeated since February 2016 (when Northern Districts won by 284 runs).
Admission to the match is free.
