Victim of Mohaka River tragedy named
Police have named the man who died in a water incident on the Mohaka River near Kotemaori on Sunday.
He was 53-year-old Dean McElligott, of Hamilton.
Mr McElligott was pulled from the water but was unable to be revived and died at the scene.
In a statement police extended their condolences to Mr McElligott’s loved ones.
