Early celebrations as Catherine Wedd in the lead in Tukituki
There were early celebrations tonight as National’s Catherine Wedd held a strong lead over the incumbent Labour MP Anna Lorck in the Tukituki electorate.
With 55.8 percent of the vote counted in the Tukituki electorate, Wedd is leading the Anna Lorck by 7,128 votes.
In the party vote, National has 44.11 percent of the vote, with Labour at 23.98 percent.
