Waipawa crash victim dies
A woman involved in a serious crash near Waipawa earlier this week has died.
The two-vehicle crash occurred at the intersection of Pourerere Road and River Road, about 9km east of the town, at around 7pm on Monday.
Two people were taken to hospital, including the woman who was had sustained critical injuries.
Late yesterday police were advised that she had died.
An investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
