Watch Live: 142 new Covid-19 community cases
There are 142 new cases of Covid-19 in the community, the Ministry of Health has revealed.
Of the new community cases, 103 are in Auckland, 12 in Waikato, 11 in Northland, five in the Bay of Plenty, three in Taranaki and Canterbury, two in Rotorua and Nelson Marlborough and one in Hawke's Bay.
The Ministry of Health said six people are in hospital with the virus. None are in intensive care.
Today's 54 cases in MIQ arrived in New Zealand from India, Germany, Iran, USA, South Africa, Australia, UAE, Egypt, Singapore, Italy, Sri Lanka, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon and Pakistan.
