Circumstances surrounding seriously injured man unclear, police say
The circumstances surrounding how a man came to be seriously injured in Napier is unclear, police say.
Emergency services were notified of a man who had been injured on Balmoral Street, Taradale around 7.10am this morning.
A police spokeswoman says staff are present in the area and making enquiries into the circumstances of the incident.
"At this stage it is unclear exactly how the injuries were caused, and a scene examination is underway."
