Detours in place after multiple fallen trees close SH50, near Tikokino
State Highway 50 has been closed due to multiple fallen trees.
The road is closed near the intersection with Makaroro Road and a detour is currently in place.
Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency says motorists should allow extra time for their journey this morning.
"Please follow directions by emergency services on-site and drive cautiously for unexpected road hazards."
