Missing diver found dead at Aramoana Beach, Central Hawke's Bay
A diver who failed to surface has been found dead after a search in Central Hawke's Bay this evening.
Emergency services were called to Aramoana Beach at 7.35pm, and police along with Coastguard undertook a search.
"Tragically the diver was located unresponsive in the water at 8.15pm and could not be revived,"A police spokesperson said.
"Further details regarding the diver will not be released until all necessary family notifications have taken place."
