Pedestrian hit by car in Taradale: Male in 70s in critical condition
A male in his 70s is said to be in a critical condition after he was struck by a car in Taradale this afternoon.
A Hawke's Bay District Health Board spokesperson said shortly after 5pm, that while the man was still being assessed, he is in a critical condition
Emergency services were called to the scene on Lee Rd between Meeanee Rd and Peddie St, Taradale, just after 2.40pm.
At the time, a St John Ambulance spokesman said one ambulance attended, and transported the patient to hospital with serious injuries.
