Police investigate death in Waiohiki, near Napier
Police are investigating a death in Waiohiki, near Napier, after a person was believed to have been caught in flood water.
This is believed to be the fourth death in Hawke's Bay as a result of the floods caused Cyclone Gabrielle. The other three deaths in Hawke's Bay are a child in Eskdale, a woman in northern Hawke’s Bay and a person in Bay View.
A police spokesperson said formal identification is yet to take place.
