Road re-opened following crash between truck and car in Napier
The scene of an early morning crash on a busy road through Napier has been re-opened.
Emergency services were called to the intersection of Prebensen Dr and State Highway 2 at 7.11am after a truck rolled and collided with a car.
A St John Ambulance spokeswoman said they sent one ambulance and a rapid response vehicle. They treated one patient in a moderate condition at the scene but did not transport anyone to hospital.
Firefighters were called to deal with a petrol spill on the road, council officers had been notified to assist with traffic control, and a tow truck had been requested.
The right westbound and eastbound lanes were blocked for about 45minutes.
