Two youths arrested in relation to Havelock North fire
Two youths were arrested yesterday in relation to a fire on Crosses Road in Havelock North yesterday.
Police said the fire was started at around 12.45pm yesterday.
The fire was set in a dry grass area near the creek and spread to a nearby tree.
Police say that this was one of several fires in the area in recent days.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish whether the fires are connected, and to identify others who may have been involved.”
