There are 12 new cases and one probable case of Covid-19.
12 cases have been linked back to the existing cluster. One, in hospital, is still having its link investigated.
Waikato DHB has confirmed there are 2 positive cases in Tokoroa, and are part of a household and are the same people who visited a rest home in Morrinsville. Others in the household tested negative.
38 people linked to the cluster have moved into managed isolation and quarantine facilities.
514 close contacts have been contacted. 83 per cent are being contacted within 48 hours.
Number of confirmed cases in New Zealand is 1,251
Number of confirmed and probable cases is now 1,602.
Number of active cases is 49.
15,703 tests were carried out yesterday.
