Covid-19: 46 new community cases
There are 46 new community cases in New Zealand today - 30 in Auckland, three in Northland, six in Waikato, four in Lakes, two in Tairāwhiti and one in Canterbury.
In a statement, the Ministry said there were 48 people with the coronavirus in hospital, seven of them in intensive care.
The cases are in hospitals in Auckland, Tauranga, Rotorua and Waikato.
