“We’ve all had a tough time recently and it’s time that we open the doors to our amazing community facility that’s is regarded as the best of its kind in New Zealand.

“We want to make the day as interactive as possible where locals can get a first-hand experience of all that the facility offers such as the pools, high performance technology as well as be put through their paces by our first class coaches,” Nathan said.

He adds that there will be some fun events such as a counter movement jumping competition and prizes including a free 12 month fitness centre membership and 12 month swim membership. Free introductory fitness classes will also be held during the day.

A gold coin donation will raise funds to go towards the Regional Mayoral Disaster Relief Fund.
