Hawke's Bay welcomes first New Year's baby born at hospital
Hawke's Bay has welcomed the region's first baby for 2022, born at hospital.
Juni Beatrix Kang was born at 1.23am this morning to parents Chloe and Seungmin Kang.
Several hours later, Juni could be seen cradled in her mother's arms, with her doting dad looking lovingly at her.
A Hawke's Bay District Health Board spokeswoman said she was one of five babies to be born between 1.23am and 7.10am.
Of the five born, three were girls, and two were boys.
