One person injured in multiple-vehicle crash on Hawke's Bay Expressway
One person has been taken to hospital in a moderate condition following a multiple-vehicle crash in Napier this afternoon.
Emergency services responded to the crash on the Hawke's Bay Expressway, near the Meeanee Rd off-ramp just before 1pm.
A Hato Hone St John spokesperson said they responded with one rapid response vehicle and one ambulance.
"One patient in moderate condition was taken to Hawke’s Bay Hospital via ambulance."
Diversions are in place and motorists are advised to avoid the area.
